Open Studio with Ida-Johanna Lundqvist & Henrik Ekesiöö
Friday, 9 May 2025
17.30–20.00
Location: Rotemannavägen 14, 14557 Norsborg
Flat Octopus loves to visit artists in their natural habitat. Experiencing their work in progress, gaining insight into their methods and thought processes, discussing materials, artistic practices, as well as the larger questions they engage with, is deeply meaningful to us. On May 9th, we invite you to share this passion at our upcoming Open Studio event.
Join us for a visit to the shared studio of two outstanding Stockholm-based artists, Ida-Johanna Lundqvist and Henrik Ekesiöö.
The evening will feature artist presentations, a guided studio tour, engaging discussions, and plenty of questions—both from us and from you. We’ll end the evening with an informal mingle over drinks and snacks.
Directions —> To be sure you find the studio easily, follow the instructions below: the studio is about 14 14-minute walk from the Alby metro station. Being close to the address, please note that the signs are a bit misleading, therefore please follow the road up towards Cirkus Cirkör (the sign says Rotemannavägen 20) and then before the big parking lot there is a small road to the right leading down to some loading docks, there when you see a big red steel door, you arrived.
