Workshop – nomadic croquis session. 3 May 2026, Hellasgården, Nacka

A walking, nomadic croquis session set in the natural landscapes of the Stockholm region. Over the course of two hours, we move together through the environment, depicting the surroundings in quick five-minute sketches before changing our view.

This workshop is about walking, stopping, looking, and making. When you sketch directly on site, something shifts: the place begins to feel more alive, more present. Moving on foot allows you to notice the small things—textures, colours, rhythms—you might otherwise pass by. The aim is not to capture it perfectly, but to spend time with it. Walking becomes part of the process, and painting becomes a way of being there more fully.

WHEN:
3 May, Sunday, 14.00–16.00

WHERE:
A circular route starting/ending at Hellasgården. Meeting point: Hellasgårdens utegym.
